The Whiteknuckles, organised by the North Eastern Car Club, was held on 11 May. This event was closed to members of the NECC and invited clubs.
Rowan Quill Jnr/Michelle Canning ( Mazda RX7) and Mark Roberts/David Schneiders (Datsun 1600) were equal first. Third outright and first grade 4 were Delian Mills/Brendan Clough in a Datsun 260Z. First grade 3 (and 6th outright) were Ross Runnalls and Steve Kaitler in a Datsun 1600.
