1997 Djerriwarrh Rally

The Djerriwarrh Rally, organised by the Melton Motor Sports Club and directed by Joe Brick, was held on November 8.

Round 5 Victorian Rally Championship

It was a breakthrough win for Phil Messer and Ian Fulton in there Lancer GSR by 14 seconds from Craig Morris and Jenny Cole in a Galant VR4.

A fine tenth outright gave Martin Grigg and Chris Tait the VRC Novice Award for 1997.
