The Bog-A-Duck, organised by the Melbourne University Car Club, was held on 28 February. It was the first round of the Victorian Club Rally Series. Directed by Natasha Otzen, the event was held in the forests near Thornton.
The winners were Nick and Peter Whitely from the NCCA in a Datsun 180B. Gavin Edwards & Daryl Adams were second (and first Grade 3) in a Datsun 240Z with Keith Lewis and Julian Wain third in a Datsun 1600. The first Grade 4 crew were Russell Hocking and Susan Brick in 22nd outright place.
