1998 Win TV Rally in the Valley

The Win TV Rally in the Valley, organised by the Ford Four Car Club and directed by Alan Patterson, was held on April 18-19.

Round 1 Victorian Rally Championship

Phil Messer and Rachel Bruty showed they were favourites for the 1997 VRC by taking a decisive win the Win TV Rally in the Valley, over three minutes ahead of rivals, Craig Morris and Jenny Cole. Third was a relatively unknown novice driver called Scott Pedder, who was clearly going to do great things in the future.
