The George Derrick, organised by the CCRMIT, was held on 24 April. The event was round 2 of the VCRS. The director was Neil Schey and it was conducted in the Murrindindi forests to the north-east of Melbourne.
The winners were Andrew Hollole and Stephen Dunbar in a VH Commodore. Ben Hayes and Matthew Anastassiou were second in a Datsun 1600 with Ron Tyzzer and Dennis Billings third in a Subaru Impreza WRX.
