The North Eastern Rally, organised by the North Eastern Car Club and directed by Mark Sullivan, was held on October 23.
A fine win by David Adams and Jim Stewart (Subaru) set up a nail-biting final round of the VRC with points leaders, Scott Pedder and Paul Humm (Lancer) only placing fourth. Darren Windus and Sam Vaughan kept their championship hopes alive placing third and fifth behind second placed Danny Murphy, all in Subarus.
