2000 WIN TV Rally in the Valley

The WIN TV Rally in the Valley, organised by the Ford Four Car Club and directed by Alan Patterson, was held on March 25-26.

Round 1 Victorian Rally Championship

The Rally in the Valley set the scene for this year’s VRC, with a close tussle between Scott Pedder (with Paul Humm) in a Lancer and Brett Thomson (with Rob Vanderee) in a Galant, with Pedder winning by a minute. Ian Martin (with Roslyn Martin) in a Subaru completed the podium just 15 seconds further back.

It was a similar situation in the 2WD championship. Darren Crozier (with Andrew Duggan) in the Gemini finished just 8 seconds ahead of Murray Rogers (with Ross Green) in the Toyota Sprinter.
