The Strzelecki Stages , organised by the Cerberus Car Club and directed by Alan Mackay, was held on May 26.
Calendared as the second last round of the VRC, the Strzelecki Stages ended up being the final round once the North Eastern was cancelled later in the year. David Stannus and Peter Campbell took a decisive win in their Nissan Pulsar, which would ultimately secure them the state title.
