The Sunraysia Rally, organised by the MMAL Car Club and directed by Darryn Snooks, was held on April 28.

A welcome new event for the championship took crews to new areas and challenges. The distances from Melbourne perhaps dissuaded some crews, but a field of 25 tackled the event with all but four finishing.
David and Felicity Nutter had a breakthrough win in their Subaru, over four minutes ahead of Ian and Roslyn Martin.
