The Rally of Mildura (previously the Sunraysia Rally), organised byRSD P/L and directed by Darryn Snooks, was held on March 9.

The second edition of this event, renamed as the Rally of Mildura, was also a round of the SARC, only the second time this has occurred. It attracted a strong field of 49 cars, but a high attrition rate with only 26 finishers.
Mark Fawcett and Kylie Evans ran out clear winners in their Subaru, 1½ minutes clear of Brett Thomson and Rob Vanderee in their Galant. The ever reliable Brian Semmens and David Leoncini were first 2WD in the Nissan 200SX.
It appears that the first SA crew were 8th.
