The North Eastern Rally, organised by the North Eastern Car Club, was held on November 6.

After three rounds the VRC was closely contested with six crews mathematically able to win the championship. Dowell/Lee and Nutter/DeVaus were equal leaders on 43 points but both failed the finish the North Eastern after leaving the road. Pannam/Flintoff came into the final round on 40 points, equal with Peter and Chris Montgomery, but it was the latter in their Subaru who won the event and the championship. Pannam/Flintoff finished second in the VRC after placing third on the North Eastern behind Eli Evans and Matt McAdam. It was an all Subaru podium for this event!
