Winners were Darren Windus and Michael Cains in their Subaru Impreza WRC STi, a minute ahead of Mark Fawcett and Simon Ellis in a similar car.
Some fancied entries struck trouble with Jesse and Samantha Robison breaking a driveshaft in their Subaru and Warren Lee with David Lethlean leaving the road and impacting a tree in their Lancer. Ross Dunkerton was having a run in a Nissan 240 RS but struck mechanical issues.
