The 2008 George Derrick Memorial Rally, organised by the Car Club of RMIT, was run on July 19 in the Rawson area, The Clerk of Course was Bernard Miron.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 3
The event saw a close tussle between Jesse and Samantha Robison and Mark Fawcett/Simon Ellis, both in Subaru Impreza WRXs. After eight of the nine special stages, the two crews were equal to the second. The Robisons won the final special stage and the event by just 6 seconds.
