The Bega Valley Rally, based out of Eden and organised by Tom and Steuart Snooks, was conducted on June 7. The 2009 edition was was a blind rally, i.e. no recce and no pace notes. There were five stages conducted in daylight.

The overall winners were Gavin and Eric Croker in a Mitsubishi Lancer. The winners of the VRC round were Mark Fawcett and Carrie Morris in a Subaru Impreza WRX, placing third outright.
