The Akademos was conducted by the Melbourne University Car Club and was held on October 17. The event was pace noted with recce on the Saturday. The Director was Peter Otzen. The event incorporated the Bog-A-Duck Sprint Rally.

The 2010 Akademos was won by Justin Dowel and Matt Lee in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, taking a win in Heat 2 after placing third on Heat 1. Heat 1 was won by Nathan Reeves and Scott Spedding in a Subaru Impreza WRX STi.
