2010 Rally Victoria

The 20110Rally Victoria was organised by the Cerberus Car Club and was conducted on Friday and Saturday November 12 and 13. It was the first of five editions of Rally Victoria organised by the club.

Australian Rally Championship Round 6
Victorian Rally Championship Round 5

Conducted over the Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, Rally Victoria was a pace noted event held around the forests of Powelltown with the base and service park at Lardner Park south of Drouin where the super special stage was located. Only Saturday’s competition constituted the VRC round. Weather caused the cancellation of the Sunday afternoon stages so that the VRC Round comprised only one heat.

The ARC round was won by Glen and Matt Raymond in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. The championship had already been wrapped up by Simon and Sue Evans who only managed to finish 13th after problems on SS2 cost them about 30 minutes.

The VRC Round was won by Warren Lee and David Lethlean in a Lancer Evo IX.

The ARC event commenced on Friday afternoon with two forest stages, then two runs over the Lardner Park super special stage.  Saturday was planned to have five forest stages repeated with a midday service back at Lardner Park. Bad weather caused the cancellation of the repeat of the forest stages. The event was rounded out with another run over the super special stage at Lardner Park.

The VRC round was only on Saturday with the five forest stages constituting the only heat.
