The Akademos was conducted by the Melbourne University Car Club and was held on October 16. The event was pace noted with recce on the Saturday. The Director was Peter Otzen. The event incorporated the Rubicon Ramble Sprint Rally.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 4
The 2011 Akademos was won by Eli Evans and Glen Weston in their Honda Civic Type R, winning both heats. However, they were not eligible for VRC points so the Heat 1 VRC win went to Steve Kenway and Lauren Palmer in their Subaru Impreza WRX while Heat 2 went to Tristan Penhall and Jolie Middleton in a similar Subaru. Warren Lee and David Lethlean took second VRC in Heat 1 and third VRC in Heat 2 to almost secure the state title.
