The Moonlight Meander, organised by the Melton Motor Sports Club, was held on 3 October. Clerk of Course was Simon Pilepich. The event was a non-special stage novice rally held in the Wombat State Forest.
Three crews finished equal first, all with zero points lost. They were Brad Hall and Elizabeth Kidgell in a Subaru WRX, Michael Ward and John Rawson in a Toyota Corolla and David McKenzie and Terry Brain in a Chrysler Galant. Three crews finished equal 4th with 4 points lost each.
