The MRF Tyres Akademos was conducted by the Melbourne University Car Club and was held on October 16. The event was pace noted with recce on the Saturday. The Clerk of Course was Peter Otzen.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 4
Darren Windus returned to the VRC for Round 4 and sealed the championship taking full points. With Joe Brkic side-lined for this event, the co-driver’s championship remained notionally open, but Brkic’s lead was unlikely to be overtaken in the final round, and in the end, the Begonia was reduced to a single heat.
