The Autumn Midnight, organised by the CCRMIT, was held on 28 October. The event was the 6th and final round of the VCRS. An introductory trial, the Presidents, was run in conjunction with the event. The Clerk of Course was Bernard Miron and his assistant Rick Thorpe.
The event ran in the Stoney and Glenmaggie State Forests, near Heyfield.
Matt Lee and Annie Dougherty won the event in a Subaru WRX STi, over 4 minutes clear of Steve Porter and Tony Robinson in a Mazda RX-7. Rowan Woollard and Tom Wright were a further 2.5 minutes back, also in an RX-7. As Tom Wright and the navigators of the following two cars were ineligible for points, Lynne Cuttle was third VCRS navigator even though she and Keith Cuttle finished 6th.
