The 2017 Border Oils & Batteries Mitta Mountain Rally was held on May 6 and was organised by the North Eastern Car Club in conjunction with the Albury Wodonga and District Car Club. The event was a blind special stage rally. Clerk of Course was Ross Runnalls.
Victorian Rally Championship Round 2
The winners were Glenn Raymond and Kate Catford in their Subaru Impreza WRC STi, with a win in Heat 1 and a second on Heat 2. Ben and Cathy Hayes won Heat 2 and were second on Heat 1 in a similar Subaru, missing out on the overall victory by just 30 seconds.
