The Daryl Tunbridge, organised by the Ballarat Light Car Club, was held on 20 May. The Steve Richards Memorial R4S Novice Trial was run in conjunction with the Tunbridge. The Clerk of Course was Simon Pilepich with Terry Brain as Assistant (training to be a future Clerk of Course for this event).
The “Tunbridge” was round 2 of the VCRS. As for the first round of the year, the winners were Matt Lee and Annie Dougherty in a Subaru WRX but this time only by 6 seconds from Daryl King and Troy Hutchins in a Toyota Celica. Third were Cody Richards and Steph Richards in a Ford Escort.
The Steve Richards Memorial R4S Novice Trial was won by Dale Cagney and Nathan Lowe (SEAC) in a Mitsubishi Lancer EvoIII.
