The event was conducted in its traditional area around Marysville. It was a blind rally (no recce, no pace notes). This years event was struck by horrendous weather including snow which resulted in the cancellation of the event’s longest stage in the Blue Range area to the north.
Darren Windus and Joe Brkic emerged clear victors in the VRC event winning both heats.
Cary and Russell Seabrook won the VCRS round in their Datsun Stanza.
