1993 Healesville Stages

The Healesville Stages, organised by the VRS, was held on 13 and 14 March. It was the brainchild of Glenn Cuthbert. The event promotion documents at the foot of this page provide an overview of what Glenn was trying to achieve.

Round 3 Australian Rally Championship

Round 2 Victorian Rally Championship

This was the first “full” (coefficient 10)  ARC round for 1993 and was was won by Neal Bates and Coral Taylor in their Toyota Celica GT-4.

In a somewhat strange outcome, all entrants were also eligible for VRC points. The leading Victorian crew were Graeme Wise and Helen Wylie in a Ford Sierra XR6.

A rally requires a multitude of officials. We don’t have lists of all the control, spectator and road closure officials. But we do know who the stage commanders were.
