The event was conducted primarily in the Moornappa Forest north of Briagalong with a stage at the Boisdale Hillclimb run twice. The event was a blind rally, i.e. no pace notes and no recce. The Clerk of Course was Bernard Miron.
The winners of the VRC event were newly crowned champions Ben and Cathy Hayes in a Subaru Impreza WRC Sti.
The VCRS event was won by Cody Richards and Matthew Dillon in a Ford Escort.
