The Pedders Frankston Safari, organised by the MMAL Car Club, was held on October 10.
Equal winners were Alan Friend and Robin Smalley in a Mazda RX-2, and Nigel Letty and Cameron Jay in a Toyota Corolla. Competition was fierce with less than a minute separating the first five places.
