The Bega Valley Motors Rally, organised by the Deepwater Sporting car Club and directed by Graham Roser, was conducted on June 13.

The event and the VRC round were won by Justin Dowel and Matt Lee in a Lancer. The next best VRC contenders were David Nutter and Matt DeVaus in a Subaru, 7th outright and a minute and a half behind Dowell and Lee. Ben Fawcett and Tony Boyd placed third VRC and 9th outright and first 2WD in their Nissan Pulsar. VRC Round 1 winners, Peter and Chris Montgomery, were non-finishers.
