The CCRMIT Presidents was renamed the David Nutter Ford Used Car Rally for its 2003 (and final) edition. It was directed by Bernard Miron and held on February 22.

Victorian Rally Championship Round 1

Like the previous year, this almost “sprint” rally held near Morwell  saw very close competition. Mike Reeves and Robin Smalley opened their 2003 VRC account with a narrow victory in their Evo3, just 5 seconds ahead of reigning champions, Brett Thomson and Rob Vanderee in their Galant. Mark Fawcett and Kyle Evans completed the podium in their Subaru. 27 seconds further back. Interstaters filled the next two positions.

Andrew Vibert and David Gallacher were first 2WD in their Corolla while Shaun Timberlake and Jason Hague were first Clubman and first Novice in their Laser TX3.
