The Tunbridge, organised by the Ballarat Light Car Club, was held on 4 April. It was round 1 of the Robson Cup.
The winners were Mark Fawcett and Tony Boyd in a Galant VR-4. They were three and a half minutes ahead of Trevor and Kim Woods in a Datsun 1600 with Tom Quill and Dave Gallacher a similar margin further back in third in a Datsun 180B.
