The Rivertown, organised by the Cerberus Car Club, was the 3rd round of the VCRS and was held on 15 August. 64 cars started but only 41 reached the finish.
The winners were Neil and Chris Schey in a Commodore, with Bernie Miron and John Rabl in a Corolla only 10 seconds behind in 2nd and Phil Thomas and Ken Radnell 3rd in a Commodore. First novice crew was Steve Poore and Matthew Birchall.
