Rally SA was held on May 22.

Australian Rally Championship Round 6 (C10)

It was a repeat performance from the previous year with Possum Bourne and Rodger Freeth taking their Subaru to a convincing win in SA, a massive seven minutes clear of second placed locals, Ed Ordynski and Mark Stacey in their Lancer. Victorian privateer Graham Alexander with co-driver Rod Horsley completed the podium in their Galant.
