1975 Don Capasco Rally

The Don Capasco Rally, organised by the Southern Districts Motor Sports Association, was conducted o March 29-30 in the forests around Canberra.

A star is born

The 1975 Don Capasco Rally saw the mergence of Greg Carr, winning the event for the first of six consecutive years. Some saw Carr as a Canberra specialist who knew the roads around his home time so well. But they would be proven wrong when he went on the win several Alpine Rallies and three national titles.

The event followed the same format as the previous year with three dvisions – Saturday daylight, Saturday night and Sunday daylight.
