The Tunbridge, organised by the Ballarat Light Car Club, was held on 19 April. The event was round 2 of the Robson Cup Rallye Series.
The winners were Ian Johnson and Andrew Kriesl in a Datsun 1600. Second were Murray Rogers and Andrew McMaster in a Toyota Sprinter, with Bruce Campbell and Trevor Boyd third, also in a Datsun 1600. The first grade 4 driver and 4th outright were Andrew Caddy and Paul Loughnan in a Mitsubishi Starion.
