The Tunbridge, organised by the Ballarat Light Car Club, was held on 17 April.
The event was round 1 of the 1999 Robson Cup Rallye Series. The winners were Murray Rogers and Andrew McMaster in a Toyota Sprinter. They were over 6 minutes ahead of second placed Murray Kirkwood and Tony Cooper in a Datsun 180B. Third were Ben Reidy and Matt de Vaus in a Subaru Leone, also first grade 4. First novice and 7th outright were Robert and Jenny Brown in a Nissan Skyline.
