2014 Rally Victoria

The 2014 Rally Victoria was organised by the Cerberus Car Club and was conducted on Friday and Saturday November 14 and 15. It was the fifth and final edition of Rally Victoria organised by the club.

Conducted over the Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, Rally Victoria was a pace noted event held around the forests of Powelltown with the base and service park at Lardner Park south of Drouin where the final super special stage was located. Only Saturday’s competition constituted the VRC round.

The ARC Round was won by Scott Peddar and Dale Moscat in a Renault Clio R3 with a win on Heat 1 and a second on Heat 2. This secured the national title for them. Heat 2 was won by Steven and Brent Mackenzie in a Ford Fiesta ST, but they failed to finish Heat 1.

The VRC Round was won by Justin Dowell and Matt Lee in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, with a second on Heat 1 and a win on Heat 2. Heat 1 was won by Warren Lee and David Lethlean in an Evo IX but they only placed third on Heat 2 (but were second VRC registered).

Route

The ARC event commenced on Friday afternoon with two stages repeated, comprising Heat 1 of the ARC round. Heat 2 of the ARC round was conducted on Saturday and comprised four stages repeated with a midday service back at Lardner Park. The ARC round was rounded out with a super special stage at Lardner Park.

The VRC round was only on Saturday with each heat using the four stages from the ARC round with Heat 2 also including the Lardner Park super special stage.
