The Akademos Rally was conducted by the Melbourne University Car Club and was held on October 20.

2024 Victorian Club Rally Series – Round 5 (Bog-a-Duck)
The event was won by Adrian Stratford and Anthony Staltari in a Ford Fiesta G4 to secure the state title. It was a tight three way battle with Troy Dowell and Bernie Webb (Fiesta) taking second overall ahead of Brad and Jamie Luff (Subaru). Just 30 seconds separated the three cars on Heat 1 and 27 second on Heat 2. Danny Traverso and Anthony Carr (Evo 9) were fourth on both heats, just a handful of seconds off the podium place. Richie Dalton came south for the event in his Toyota Yaris but retired on SS1 with failed power steering.
James and Mark Leoncini (Corolla) took the Heat 1 2WD win by 6 second from Braeden Kendrick and James Brown (Commodore), but failed to finish Heat 2, which was won by the Commodore ahead of Luke Sytema and Tracey Dewhurst in the Escort. It was ablow to the Leoncinis who gave up the 2WD title to Nick Seymour (Fiesta).
Ross Stapleton and Peter Ellis (Nissan 200SX) rounded out a season with a fourth and a second in grade to take the Clubman award. Lucas Reed (Excel) made it a clean sweep of the Novice grade.
The VCRS round was won by Andrew White and David Hahn (Nissan Silvia) with series winners, Joel Wald and Cathy Elliott (Stanza) limping home in 15th.
