Highlights

The Victorian Rally Championship was reduced to four rounds after the cancellation of the Valley Stages. The title was won by Adrian Stratford and Anthony Staltari in a Ford Fiesta.

The Victorian Club Rally Series was held over was five rounds, three being dual VRC status. The series was  won by Joel Wald and Cathy Elliott in a Datsun Stanza, helping the HRA to win the club award.

Australian Rally Championship

The “Middle of Everywhere” Gippsland Rally was Victoria’s round of the ARC. It was won by Harry Bates and Coral Taylor in a Yaris. They went on to win the national title, Harry’s third and Coral’s sixth.

VRC events in 2024 were the Mitta Mountain, Ada River, Gippsland Rally and Akademos.

Outright Champions: Adrian Stratford / Anthony Staltari, Ford Fiesta

2WD Champions: Nick Seymour, Ford Fiesta R2
2WD Champion Co-Driver: Peter Ellis (with Ross Stapleton)

2WD under 2000cc: David Bern, Hyundai Excel
Co-driver: Jack West (with Thomas West)

Clubman Award: Ross Stapleton / Peter Ellis, Nissan 200 SX

Novice Award: Lucas Reed / Isaac Draper, Hyundai Excel

Victorian Club Rally Series

There were 5 VCRS events in 2023 – Mitta Mountain, Ada River, Nissan Nightmoves, Moonlight Meander and Bog-a-Duck (Akademos).

HRA Rally Championship

This series was solely for members of the Historic Rally Association.
