Highlights
This year the VRC lost the Marysville Stages, had it replaced by Bega, then that was cancelled. However, the series ran successully with five rounds and was won by Darren Windus and Joe Brick in a Lancer Evo X.
The Victorian Club Rally Series also had three rounds cancelled but ran with six rounds and was won by Andrew Pannam in a Subaru. Nathan Lowe won the co-drivers award sitting next to Keith Millard in a Datsun 1600. The HRA won the club award.
In June many Victorians travelled to the Red Centre (Alice Springs) for the Classic Outback Trial, organised from Victoria. The event was hit by unseasonal rain causing the cancellation of the prologue and the entire first full day of stages. The remaining five days ran with just a few stages cancelled, and was won by Andrew and David Travis in a Nissan Gazelle.
Australian Rally Championship
There was no Victorian round of the Australian Rally Championship.
