Highlights
It was a successful year for Victorian rallying with good events and fields in both the VRC and VCRS.
The Victorian Rally Championship was won by Justin Dowell and Scott Spedding in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. There were six rounds after the Bega Valley Rally was cancelled.
The Victorian Club Rally Series over seven rounds was won by Brendan Brown and Steph Richards in a 180B. The Nissan Car Club took out the club award for the fourth year in succession.
At the end of August classic enthusiasts headed to central NSW for the Classic Outback Trial, organised from Victoria, but conducted through NSW, SA and just into Victoria. Andrew and David Travis had their second COT win.
Australian Rally Championship
The Victorian round of the Australian Rally Championship was Rally Victoria. It was won by Victorian Scott Pedder, with Dale Moscatt, in a Renault Clio R3. The win secured the national title for them.
