The Summer Safari was one of the Peugeot Car Club’s oldest events and probably its first open event, traditionally conducted as the opening event of the years, still in “Summer”.

In the 1970s it became a regular round of the Victorian Clubman Series and later a round of the revived Victorian Trials Championship. It has always involved a significant degree of navigation.

In the late 1990s it was revived as an historic Touring Road Event. In more recent years the club has rekindled the name for regular touring assemblies.
